hawkfish and pistol shrimp


Anyone have experience w/the 2? Does the pistol have enough attitude to defend himself?

The pistol has been in the tank for 6 months or so. Not sure on the hawk... I like the red or flame but, another might be ok if he is more docile.

My flame hawk doesn't even look twice at my inverts. Not saying they are all like that though. Mine just like his front row seat on top of a powerhead.

dont buy an hawkfish....
i had to work months to capture it and remove from the tank...
it was figthing with all new entry..
and many of them was found on the floor... or behind the tank..

they are nice.. but can be hard to keep when they become adults..

get a goby for your pistol
