have you heard of


have you heard of flipping injured/dieing plate corals so the dont get light i hsve hear it will make them budd sometimes is this true?

several corals will reproduce if put into a no win scenario. this is a last ditch effort to maintain itself. i would not recommend this as a way to propogate corals. at least with todays knowledge of husbandry.

well i dont know i think ill check it every other day to see if it has made any new buds or if it just died. i dont think it will make it or nething else

I have a long tentacled plate that got crushed under an "avalanche" during water change, it wnet downhill in 4 days and has no tentacles and the crabs are on it now.
Any hope for this one?

prolly not.

with plates do not remove the skeleton. there have been many times that after 3-6 months small ones started forming on the old skeleton.

plates are very fragile. any kind of tearin their tissue is not good.
