I changed my filter once, but that was to install a higher capacity membrane. I went from a 35 pgd to 100 gpd - big difference. Carbon block and prefilter get changed every 6 months or whenever I remember.

Once a year on everything but the membrane....I haven't changed it yet, my TDS is still good. I flush for about 15 minutes after making water.

Depends on where I have lived .. some places have pretty lousy water quality and depending on tank size you may need to switch out often .. other places have great water quality and you may go a very long time.

In Portland the water quality is better before RO than some cities after RO ... as such my RO filters last a LONG TIME.

After about 1 1/2 years my TDS went from 0 to 1, the before filter reading is 112. I just replaced all of my filters 2 membranes, reg filters and 2 DI. TDS back to 0. At the same time I re-routed the drain so it does not go through the air gap on the faucet, no more leak = Happy Wife
