My wife's taking me out for corned beef and cabbage tonight because she won't let me cook it in the house.

I cooked up a corned beef last night but roasted it at 300 for 2 1/2 hours. It was so yummy and I am never boiling one again.
Not sure how Irish a monster reuben is, but it will go well with three or four beers for a nice holiday.

I do my corned beef in a crockpot. Just add Guinness, cabbage, salt and the spice pack, let it slowcook for about 6 or 8 hours. Boil a few potatoes and chow down. She just doesn't like the smell of cooked cabbage.
Perry, ever do the apple glazed corned beef?
