Happy *onday!!!!!
Morning all!
Hope everyone has a safe holiday, and to stop and remember the true reason for the day,,,
It just happens to be my day off this week, working 6 days this week, going to be present at a few Memorial Day observances, and if any one else gets a chance to , give thanks to those that gave up their lives, so the rest of us could remain free.
Hope everyone has a great day,,,

Good *orning, Jeff & Everyone!
Thanks for the reminder, Jeff. I hope everybody takes a little time today to remember our veterans and all those who made the ultimate sacrifice so that we can have the freedoms we enjoy.
I'm still not fully rested from the trip to Annapolis but am going to fill the tank again and drive FishGirl over to see Biltmore House in Asheville. Thankfully, it's only about 90 miles.
Mary Elizabeth had a super day at her school's awards program. She won virtually every award, including the Hall Academic award for the highest grade average in the entire middle school and the Lionheart award, which is voted by both teachers and students. I'm mighty proud of that little gal!
I hope everyone has a safe and wonderful day!

Morning Jeff, Dick and all of sleeping TRT!
I came in a bit early today - although I don't know why It's raining here - we'll be open - hopefully the bad weather will bring out some shoppers!
Wow, Dick, ME cleaned up! Congratulations!!!
On the last day of school, Emily was presented with a backpack full of goodies, from her team of teachers, and a certificate for being an inspiring student, and for her excellent character! She does very well academically (as I'm sure I've boasted before) but earlier this year she also won the "Golden Rule" award, for always being respectful of fellow students, and faculty, and now this! To say I'm proud is rather an understatement!
Well I guess since I'm here I should start to get some work done.... ugh, who's got the coffee this morning? I need some 10 w 30, please....
Jenn

Mornin' Jeff, Dick, Jenn and the rest of you TRTers...
Jenn--I've got some good, strong coffee right here for you...
I think we've all got some pretty amazing kids around here. Dick and Jenn--you should both be proud.
Since we had the big BBQ yesterday, I get to relax today. Everyone enjoy your holiday....

Good morning everyone! Where's the coffee?
Yet another busy day planned here... packing is into full swing, and the boxes are piling up. I'm now trying to book our hotels along the route, which is a little more difficult that I thought it would be. We don't have much choice but to bring the dogs, and finding hotels that will let us bring 3 big dogs in is trickier than I thought it would be.
Anyone live in the Mount Vernon/Paducah area or Macon/Valdosta area and want to put us up? Didn't think so.
Anyway, things are looking good for a relatively smooth move. Well, as smooth as a halfway-across-the-country move can be.
We had 2 showings yesterday, and one of them was really interested... his realtor said he "would be thinking about it." I'm hopeful that we'll have a second showing - and maybe an offer - soon. We've had over 3 dozen showings now... you'd think someone would have fallen in love with it by now.
Have a great day, and let us not forget the reason for the celebrations.
Danielle

Good Mawnin', Jeff, Dick, Jenn, Jodi (how about that J crowd!), and all of TRT!!! Thanks for the coffee, Jodi.
Woweee, Dick and Jenn. What great news about your kids doing so well. It's an inspiration for even OFRs, like me May we all be lionhearted, each in our own way!
Hey, Dick- Great way to spend the day today. Biltmore is a beautiful place to visit any time of the year, but Spring is a particular splash of color. BTW, Dick...Thanks for sharing those pix of your cousin's graduation from Annapolis. Mighty impressive display for our country.
Rain today, so no cookout here. No matter, let's just celebrate the US Armed Services today, and everyday!
Lots of love and hugs and peace to everyone!

Good morning, Jenn, Jodi, Danielle, & Cath!
Jenn, those "Golden Rule" and character awards are the most important, though it's a blessing to have her do so well academically. So proud of Emily!
Thanks, Jodi. I'm happy for all our TRT kids and parents....a really great group!
Danielle, good luck with the house. I know you and Andy will be glad to clear that last hurdle for your new life in the Sunshine State. Traveling with pets is a challenge. So far, I've been able to resist the pleadings of the girls to take their dogs with us on trips.
Thanks, Cath! I've never been to Biltmore House so I'm pretty excited about the trip, though not looking forward to clomping around the grounds in this cast. There's some rain in the forecast for Asheville too, but hopefully, we'll be there for the sunny 50% of the day!!

Congrats to ME, Dick!
Danielle, you KNOW that if you take the I-40 route to Asheville, you can drive I-26 to I-95 and it's a straight shot to Orlando...
And you'd get free lodging and our bagel breakfast with the ULTIMATE GRITZ at the Walnut Grove Seaquarium...
