Bummer on you guys not being able to sleep. I hope that you eventually got some decent nap time last night.
I'm up a little earlier today so that I can go to a gift shop nearby for something for my sister. I hope that item is still there  I swanee, I'm more behind this year than other years. Bleh.

Morning everyone!
Back to the grind. I am going in early today to get some things in order at work. Giving my notice today and then have three and a half weeks of getting things ready to turn over this MRP system. All of the processes are good to go, but now people are afraid to move.
I can't wait to move. Michelle is flying up to go down with me, and we will put the Beemer on a flatbed.

back to work for the dept. lunch.. made my chili for it...forgot the onions!! how i did that ??!!
but got a nice slow toxic burn with it! sorta sneeks up on ya after the 5 spoonful!

The Beemer is going to go on a flatbed behind the truck Timmah.
Okay just got my Blitz update. She most likely has a very rare heart condition called Tetralogy of Fallot whatever that is. She is doing well though and has a good place to live the next 1-5 years now. Someone did kick her though, so she is recovering from that and will have quite a bit of energy and spunk. Being Blitz...she has charmed the entire vet office and is getting plenty of attention.
However, she has been told by the vet that she is not to be chasing down any more foxes. Oddly enough, that is the same thing she told me.

Good Morning, TRT!
Please keep your fingers crossed for me that we don't lose power again tonight - we're still only operating on partial power anyway - as there's another storm coming in!  Not as big as last time but things are still such a mess here.
My Mom is coming up to visit us in Seattle for the 1st time and I so want to have a nice Christmas for her. But I guess as long as I can keep her warm somehow, as long as we're altogether it will be all good. BBQing a steak for Christmas dinner instead of ham and all the trimmings won't be much of a hardship.

I would imagine that could cost you a big kick in the ribs, too.

Good luck with the power, Alice. Hope everything works out with your mom coming to visit. Steak for Christmas was my dad's favorite.
