Happy Fourth of July Morning!
Good Morning & Happy July 4th,
Today we celebrate the most significant date in American history. Without that rebellious document, there would be no U.S.A. as we know it. The Military Channel is showing the outstanding documentary series "The Revolutionary War" all day. Highly recommended.
90-ish and 50% chance of showers and T-Storms today. We need the rain but might dampen some of the fireworks.
No big plans for me today with FishGirl still gone so I'll just visit some friends and family and see who's got the best eats.
Nature provides its own fireworks sometimes, such as these Elderberry blossoms bursting with color in the glowing light of early morning, just after sunrise.
Have a Fabulous Fourth, Everyone!
Dick

 HAPPY 4th of JULY TRT!
Dick, Sorry FishGirl's not going to be with you, but it sounds like you have a good plan!
George, have fun.
Vinnie, enjoy the fireworks. Florida is so restrictrive (nothing that flies or explodes) that it isn't really worth doing. Of course, Alabama is near and they are not nearly so restrictive.
To everyone else, Have a great 4th. I'll be getting off work in 1/2 an hour. Go home, make some macaroni salad, spend the afternoon at the brother-in-law / sister-in-law's house, either hanging around the pool or playing Wii. Fireworks in the evening, of course.
Y'all have a great 4th!
Ray

Good mawnin', Dick, George, Vinnie, Ray, and all of TRT!
Thanks for the coffee, George I've got red, white and blue pancakes going. Sans oatmeat today
Dick - Elderberry flowers! What a treat for our eyes today. You pick out the most refreshing photos when we need them most. I know you're missing FishGirl LOTS, but I trust that you'll find a good time where ever you go.
Hey, Vinnie - what are you grilling out today?
Ray - enjoy your well-deserved day off. Too bad tomorrow is the payoff for it. Macaroni salad is a must for a holiday
Today I'm going to a covered dish/cookout at a neighborhood lake. Fireworks at the finish, of course. Greg and Deb are coming along, too.
Lots of love and hugs and peace to everyone.

Not grilling anything today, We are going to a BBQ later, They will do the grilling.they will have some fireworks, But I went ahead and got some for when we get home, Jacob loves them.
I don't live in any city limits so we can do almost any fireworks, Makes it more fun that way.

Morning everyone.
Hopefully we are taking a break today from looking at houses and I can do some honeydo's. We bought stuff to restore some old furniture and I have round two of the herb garden to plant since the first batch is all tucked away in the freezer ready to use.
Great picture Dick!
I am thinking that ribs might be kind of nice today...wish Vince lived closer so I could bring over a cooler and throw them on his smoker.
Have a nice 4th everyone!!

Morning all
Last midnite shift left to go tonite, and hopefully it'll be as uneventful as the prev 4 .
Cooled off a bit the last few days, but that'll end tomorrow or so when the temps get back up to normal.(along w/ the temps, comes the rain tho i'm afraid)
A few people asked me about our blueberries, and i told them it's still a lil too early for them. But on my way to work last nite, i noticed a nearby b-berry farm had their "open" sign hangin' under the farm sign,,,(I better go take a stroll out to ours and check em LOL ) Been too hot 'n skeeter infested for me to think about them the last week or so .
Oh well, time for some outside chores since the weather is decent ..
Hope everyone has a safe and enjoyable 4th!
