Haitian Sea Anenome

I wanted a home for my 2 clowns but I heard that the fish won't recognize the Haitian Sea Anenome because it's from the Atlantic.

I don't have a lot of light so I can't have any pacific anenome (that I know of) I have a 29 gallon tank with an eclipse top and 2 18 watt florescents one is actinic one is daylight.

Does anyone have this anenome? Do the Percula clowns like it?

Is it the white with purple tips, Condylactis? No matter an anemone should have more than 36 watts of light
I would take it back, if it were me.
Even feeding it will only prolong the inevitable. And FWIW they have been known to eat clowns

Haitian

I have two Clarks Clown that have decided to take care of both the anenomes in my tank. One is the Haitian and one is a GIANT green carpet. I would say these clowns are not the norm as they are a mated pair and take turns hosting in each of the anenomes. I've had both these anenomes for a long time. The carpet alway did well even in my old tank with poor lighting the Hatian has truley come to life in my new 180 (with 6 watts per gallon). So I would say yes to the hosting. But would have to agree that your lighting is not suffecient. Could you possibley double it by going to a dual 36watt reto? One other note the hatian is a wonderer. I've been able to create a good rock structure for the carpet and keep it put. but the haitian goes walk about every 6 months or so.
