hair Algae?

I thinking im starting to get some hair algae. I have about 10 peices of LR and one of them has things that are looking like baby grass. I have had my LR in my tank for about 3 weeks now. I have an RO/DI unit for water. Unfortunatley my EuroReef CS6-1 skimmer is STLL on back order. I was promised this thing three weeks ago so I have been doing water changes twice a week. I test for Nitrate, Nitrite, Amonia, PH, and Alkalinity. I ordered a calcium and a phosphate tests which should be here soon. I have also been running my lights on a schedule of 5 hours per day. How would I stop a breakout of hair algae before it gets bad?

Ditto Tony,,,,,,leave 'em off til you need 'em,,,,,
Turn your lights on when you gotta get a look -see at the tank, otherwise, you'd do better leavin' them off for now
