1. take a 5ml sample
2. add 7 drops of reagent #1
3. shake reagent #2 and add 3 drops
4. add reagent #3 1 drop at a time, shake after each drop, when it turns purple multiply the number of drops times 20 for mg/l or ppm of ca2++

any comments on the quality of this test kit?

yakmon thank you very much I came out with a CA level of 460 wich is right where I like to try and keep it.

I have been using Hagen CA test kit for some time and no real complaints on my part.

I also use Kents Tech CB part A & B to maintain My alk and CA level I dose daily about 50 ml of each I have 2 75 gallon tanks on a single sump and refugium so I am calculating the dosage at roughly 180 gallons of water.

Thank you again for replying with the instructions the results came out right where I was hoping they were.
