Had my first mini flood

Last night I was messing with the skimmer and forgot to turn it back down. At 6 o'clock this morning I woke up to the sound of the return pump sucking air. I jumped out of bed and found the 1 gallon jug used to catch the skimmer junk was full and had about 1/2 gallon setting at the bottom of the stand. One heck of a way to wake up. Live and learn right?

I hear that, thats why i never drilled my collection cup. If i ever did, I would get those that can turn off ur skimmer

Oops! I've never flooded tank water, but RODI seems to find its way to the floor all the time.

Thats why i went to a 2 1/2 gallon jug to catch the juice! it works great! JMO
