had a clam for a hitchhiker!


had a small, quarter sized clam come in as a hitchhiker yesterday. Will he make it under nova extreme 48" 4x54?

Are you sure its a photosynthetic clam? There are tons of bivalves and often the hitchhikers are other things

shows how much I know about clams! I have no idea.. I just read a lot about them needing good light.

Probably a non-photosynthetic clam. Most are filter feeders. I have known folks to have them for years w/o doing anythin and others that go out of their way just to have it die. The ocean is just to diverse it's hard to say exactly what it is
