I am running a little 7" fan over the frag tank set in the garage without any AC, tank temp is 79degrees F in the middle of the day...but evap from 90 gallons is about 3 USG per day!

Nice. Looking for a suitable fan to "customize" for my sump. Space is limited, but I'm figuring if I do a chop job like you did I should be able to fit it down there.
