Sounds like you got a good deal. What corals are you planning to keep? I hope you are going to be taking lots of pics for us.
Is the overflow offset? any idea why?

Awesome! Did you get a stand and canopy as well? What are the equipment and livestock plans?

i am not sure why its offset but i guess majority of the AGA tanks are like that...i will be taking a lot of pics to show you guys the progress...i am going to be building my own stand and canopy thanks to the help of hoang and his 90 gallon bb build thread...i want to try to keep sps but it seems like hard work but it wont hurt to try...equipment are as follows:
75 aga rr tank
custom stand and canopy
2 250w halide w/2 t5 super actinics
mag 7 return pump
20-29g sump
2 hydor koralia 4s
livestock:
~ 100 lbs of live rock
1 blue hippo tang
2 clarkii clowns
1 sailfin tang
looking to purchase if anyone wants to get rid of them or are selling them:
big skimmer
electronic monitors
RO/DI unit
phosban reactor
calcium reactor
or anything else that can help with my build

Cook the Rock it seams like you will be takeing a bit to get you tank set up so get a 55 gal trashcan (i use Brut Rubbermade) and do weekly water changes on it for a few months (i know time consuming but it will save you in the end) just my little bit of thinking

BB vs DSB tough call it depends on what you want to keep and how much flow you plan to have. Mixed reef Id go SSB w/ rock lifts replaced every year or so. But go BB till your rock is cured or coked so you dont load up your SB.
