haha as you can see i will be using that for my sump...LoL the flanged part will be connected to the back of the tank for a custom overflow setup down to the sump and the big snail looking thing on top will pump water and drip calcium back into the tank via 25 psi of boost...haha  ....talk about turbo calcium....

that'll definitely move some water... be careful on the temps in the tank though.. those turbos can get up to 1500 degrees..LOL

i have 1" bulkheads, and that is for 1" PVC..
Back onto the turbo topic, i sure miss my Mustang SVO clone...can't ever forget the whistle, i'm going to have to build another one day.

are you having any problems with the 1" setup and wat kind of return pump are you running? did u have a turbo or SC stang cause i have a buddy with a cobra SC and that thing sounds mean

no, no problems. i use one of them as a full time drain and the other as a backup drain. i then go over the back of the tank with my return line. one 1" drain is capable of 600 gph of flow. mine is flowing about 275 with my return pump, i plan to boost that to 400 or so with an Eheim 1260 later this year.
about the stang.. it was a turbocharged 4 cylinder SVO/Thunderbird Turbocoupe swap. the Turbocoupe and the SVO both came with a Turbocharged 2.3L 4 cylinder from Ford, as did the Merkur XR4Ti (same motor as the Turbocoupe and SVO) If you want more info, you can see my webpage..

sounds good...i guess i have to get some more material to make my own standpipes...didnt get to even touch the stand these past couple of days because of work, midterms and papers...6 more agonizing weeks until i graduate!!!

finally had some time to work on the stand...bought some 18mm birch plywood and cut up some pieces for the front and inside bottom of the stand...will try to get some pics later on
