an orange Montipora capricornis. some of the colour change is me actually learning how to use the white balance.

an Acropora secale, i think. it has really grown a lot. i had 3, Rick has one and i have the other 2. it is hard for me to tell which one was the original pic for which coral since they have grown so much.

last but not least is a pic of a tri-colour Acropora i got from Rick not to long ago. you can really see how the frags start encrusting the base area before growing up. i removed it from the bass and epoxied it directly to the LR.

Yeah I could have those in my tank!
But then again they would look like the first growth sequence!

thanks everyone!
those are the corals that have had the most growth on them. i have several that look almost the same since i have gotten them. they are just really slow growers.
as you could see some of those corals have 9 months worth of growth on them!!! believe me looking at the tank everyday it does not look like they have grown much until i look back at the pics.
i can remember back to some of my softies and how fast they grew and budded! these stonies are really long term. i am glad i waited until i had a place to put an aquarium that would never have to be moved!
