Growth on live rock

Being new to this hoby I have a 12 gallon aquapod the live rock looks like it's got these little white palm trees growing out of it they are verry tiny but when they are touched they dissapear what is it and how do I get rid of it if it's bad. There are also what looks like little trees growing on it also.

That sounds like you just have little tube worms. They are just harmless filter feeders. No need to worry.
