Grounding 150W MH Electric Ballast

I just received a 150W MH ballast from Icecap to replace a defective one. Its a Sunpark 120-MH150 electronic HID ballast. My problem is the ballast only has 4 wires coming out of it. Wiring diagram only shows 4 wires too. There is no ground wire coming out of the ballast or a post/screw to attach a ground to. How am I supposed to ground this thing? I presume wiring the ground from my reef optix III to my plug that goes into the wall isn't the thing to do.

Thanks for your help.

Attach the ground wire from the plug to the metal housing of the ballast.

OK, but then what do I do with the ground coming from the pendant? Attach it to the ballast to? How should I attach these wires to the ballast since it doesn't have a screw for this?

Thanks wharyat.

How do you attach the ballast to the pedant or wherever it's attached. If you use screws use crimp "eye" connector between the top of the screw and the ballast, sand the top part of the ballast to get good conduction.

Yeah I can see doing that with the screw holding the ballast to my canopy. Thanks. But do I do it with both the ground coming from my pendant and the ground that comes from my wall plug? Or just one of them?

Wait, how is the ground from the pendant attached? Is it coming from the power cord that goes to the ballast?

The ground from the pendant is attached to a piece of metal inside the housing of the pendant and runs inside a cord with a hot and a neutral that are attached to the ballast.
