Got a dremel and a diamond tip .... only a little afraid to use it.


ok ... im a few minutes from drilling a 2-3/8" hole in the upper center rear 1/4" thick glass of a 46 bowfront. what is the minimum measurement down from the top i can drill it?

i wouldnt drill it any closer to the edges the diameter of the hole you are drilling

Thats the wrong tool for the job.

you want a diamond hole saw. takes 2 minutes with a hole saw.......30+ with the dremel

I dont think you want the edge of the hole on a thin walled tank like that any closer then 2.5 inches or so from the edge

Ive purchased from that same guy I believe if thats the hong kong ebay guy. It will get there sooner than you expect and it will work great

yup ... you are right ... but i figure im only making one hole and it can be any size i want.

almost done .. groung half way through the inside then went to the outside.

you already have the bulkhead, right? different bulkheads from different manufacturers require different sized holes.
