Good morning everyone. I think I am submitting my resignation today..got a lot to do.
Please add to my list of underachieving the new one I was told yesterday which is that people do not understand what is going through my head. Sorry to be the official forum pariah.
I am going to offer to stay on for a month then have another month of sick/vacation time and offer to consult as needed after that...so hopefully they will not walk me out. Any plain old process/sustaining engineering job will be a pleasure now.

Good morning! Well, I've got my first bit of orientation tomorrow, in the form of a cetification exam... so I need to finish studying. (Advanced trauma life support, for anyone who cares.) It's a grueling 2 day thing, and I'm not looking forward to it...
Got some curtains FINALLY hung - they're the only bit of fabric on the windows in the house. But it's a start. Matching paint would be nice too, but I don't think I'll get that lucky.
I need coffee. Sigh.

This buck with his antlers in mid-growth is munching himself through grass taller than he!! This might be one I call "Curly" as his antlers are uniquely deformed. Have to wait 'til they grow some more to be sure.

Well I gave notice at work..and it is the happiest day of my life. I have never really quit a job and did not know what to say in my resignation notice. I thanked everyone and said I would care to leave with honor, and that we need to find a replacement.
If I am going to work at 4 am and leaving at 5 pm and making Christy work for free there is a problem anyway.
Sorry to be such a downer today on the boards, but you guys are family. It was so weird but when we met Tom and Cath it just seemed like we knew them forever...(and watch out Cath is a hugger).
For some reason now though I am light on my toes, the sun is out and it is summer.
Tom, can you get me a job at the BMW plant...I promise to put all the bolts in every car.
Thank you all for your kind and supportive words.
edited: I promise not to cross thread the bolts and will use them metric wrenches not vice grips as well.
