Question

Good Heater and Powerheads?

What heater would you guys/gals suggest I use for a 90 g with a 40 g sump, that will be kept in a basement that is rarely warmer than 65 degrees. I was thinking about mayber two of these in 150W.

Also, would two koralia 4's be enough flow for the same tank with out causing a constant sand storm?

You might want to bump them up to 200w since there'll be a lot of cooling affect from the sump in the basement; especially in the winter.

I have two koralias and didn't care for them much because of the flow pattern. It seemed to me as if the pattern was a wide cone. I still use them for mixing saltwater but replaced them with sure grip MJ mods in the tank.

I like the Koralia's because of the wide flow - I think it's personal preference. I have 2 4's in my 75, but it's bb. They should be plenty in a 90.
