The false percula refuse to do anything and after a bunch of research I have decided to end my quest of trying to mate a pair. It seems like the tank raised ones are not too keen on breeding. I know this is a general statement and everybody has different results. The pair I have are a pair but don't seem to know what to do. It may be a matter of time but I want to move on to some other variety that will yield better results or raise my chances of having some success.

Right now all I have is a 14g BC. I was going to load them up in the morning and take them to the LFS and look for a different variety.

I was hoping some more experienced folks can help me out and help me deciding which variety might be best. They have tons of variety at the LFS so I have a wide variety of types and sizes to choose from. What size should I look for and what variety do you think would be best for the tank.

are you all setup to actually raise the fry?

yeppers, I can get all the food for the fry at the LFS so I don't have to culture anything which seems to me to be the biggest headache of all. I just need some fish that will actually do it now.

Are you sure your LFS stocks enough live rotifers and live baby brine? It would be highly unusual to find one so well equipped to handle the volume that a clownfish brood will need at the time when you need it. You cannot rely on using the retail bottled products without spending a small fortune.
