Goby/pistol shrimp
So I am thinking of doing said combo, does anyone want to give me advice or share experiences?

I bought a pair and the golby made for the front right of the tank, and the shrimp for the back left. THat's where they both made their homes and they never paired up, very dissapointing.

when releasing into the tank , let all the air out of the release container(bag) , lower(sink) the container to the desired spot , open the container and release both specimines at the same time to the desired spot , this will increase the likelyhood that they will stay together.
keep them well fed at first (spot feed with a pipet) to reduce the risk of wandering.
they should get right to work making a home.
i have had both good luck and bad luck.
its a gamble, like most of this hobbie.

the key is to get the goby settled in, then "escort" the shrimp to where the goby is

the shrimp will build a tunnel for the goby to feel safe,
the goby will gaurd the shrimp from preditors
it's kinda cool, the shrimp will move around outside the hole, but always be touching the shrimp with some part of it's body
