Glue frag to disk or try natural?

Hello,

I got a free frag today but its completely by itself. I need to get it to stick to a frag disk but Im not sure if I should just set it on top and see if the frag will latch on itself or should I try to glue the actual frag to the disk??? Im not sure of the type of frag but just to give you an idea of what it is.. Its a pulsing flowery looking frag, light purple in color. I can post a picture if the type would make a difference. Thanks for the help!

i would have to go with a frag disk if you cant find a nice hole in one of your rocks because like i sayed i think it would slime off the glue get a rubber band and Loosely tie it to a rock/plug and i think that would work

so you think putting a rubberband around it lightly would be a better option? Anyone else agree? This is my first time handling a frag not attached to a piece of LR so im kinda clueless...

It's xenia and it likes a tank on the drity sideIf you have a skimmer skim on the dry side and it mite grow like a weed.If your water is clean and skim wet,it mite not live.Once it's attached it needs light and med to low flow.

Funny my Xenia like higher flow (I guess its all relative).

I saw a cool article for fragging Xenia whereby you put the frags in an onion bag and attach that to a powerhead. The frags attach to the onion bag, then you can cut them out and attach the onion bag material to whatever (you can glue or tie it down).

Good Luck...I've always liked Xenia, but it can go crazy.

I wouldn't put in the rockwork. I'd make sure the rubble you attach it to is sitting away from anything it can cling onto. I like mine in the sandbed it just grows on the glass and it easy to clean it off the glass.
