I just bought one, and currently have it in use on my CLS. Same brand, same exact model.
Mine runs a little hot, but nothing a fan won't fix.
As for noise level...well, think it's based on tolerance.
My g/f thinks it's loud. Me? I think it's hearable, but not annoying loud, or anything.
I do think the PCX-70 is a bit noiser than the model below it, but not so much that it's overbearing.
But again, my g/f would disagree.
As for it lasting? don't know...only had mine running for a few weeks now.
All in all, VERY happy with it. My ONLY complaint is that the output nozzle doesn't point straight up. It points up and out at about 45 °. So if space is tight, you're gonna have some problems.
Other than that, it's a good pump for the price.
