gen-x pcx40 loud?

i got my closed loop all plumbed and works great. i t'd it off into to lock line returns.. but only bad thing is the noise of the fan on the pump. I read online these pumps are quiet.. but the fan on mine is very loud. anyone else have one of these pumps?

mine is pretty derned quiet. I have it mounted on a rubber pad, and used flixible hose (spa flex) in and out. Are you sure it is the fan? They are pretty small fans...

yea its the fan cause if i cover it with my hand it is very quiet
