Fuzzy brown algae! What the Heck! (pic attached)

So the the past week I have notice an increase in a brown fuzz in some areas of my tank. I figured it was just a diatom bloom. My RO/DI is at 1ppm tds.

I ordered some more resin but honestly am not worried about 1ppm.

After taking care of flatworms via FWX a few days ago I noticed a HUGE increase in this fuzzy brown algae.

Got any ideas on what it is?
Pic attached

Ok ok I know what your going to ask.....

NH3-Undetectable
No2-Undetectable
NO3-Undetectable
PO4-.07 with photometer.

Shallow Sand Bed
Cheato in sump.
Filter sock washed 2x per week

My Po4 is a lil high but I would not think high enough to spur a bloom like this in a week.

I just also began dosing 2 part (randy's) Mg solution to get my MG up to 1500 to take care of a little Bryopsys.

Anyone got a Idea?
Solution?

Gonna fire up the Po4 reactor tomorrow. I had it filled with carbon after using FWX.

It looks like some cyano I got a couple months ago. Took aover the entire tank, I had to take it down and re set up the tank. It was terrible. Something that did work was red slime eliminator got rid of almost everything, but then I went on vacation and it came back.

Hmmm. Seeing a particular rise in it after using FWX does sound kinda like it could definately be tied to PO4. I'd be willing to bet you'll see a decline in it after firing up your PO4 reactor again. Good luck. You have such an awesome tank. Hope all goes well.

Not slimy at all almost "hairy"

Actually my first thought was brown hair algae.
I do have a LMB, not touching it. Nor any of my tangs...

Form of bryopsis I'll bet. It can come in all shades of green to brown. How has it progressed after 6 weeks?

I'm guessing it was bryopsis. Get the Mg up to 1500 and boom! gone overnight!
