For some reason, all the sudden, my little
perc clown fish, Clyde, has started getting aggressive. He doesn't bother anything in the tank except me. I can't stick my arm in to do anything without him coming up and trying to scare me off. It's pretty amusing actually.
For the longest time I was scared to death of him and when he came over I'd pull out... made it very hard to do anything in there... I knew it was silly to be so afraid of him. Now I'm so used to it I just sit there doing what I need to do the whole time saying "Knock it off Clyde."
Tonite I had my wife feed the starfish though. This consists of skewering a small piece of shrimp and holding it down there for them to get. Even though we use a long wooden skewer, you still have to put your hand in about up to your wrist. She was so afraid of Clyde even though I told her that it doesn't hurt... that it feels funny, more surprising than anything.
Well, either it really surprised her, or he got her good, one or the other cuz she splashed water all over the place trying to get out of the tank when he got her. She squealed great big and by golly, if my daughter hadn't been right behind her, she would have taken off running I'm just sure of it! I had to stop laughing to catch my breath!
She said he got her on the little fleshy part between her middle and ring finger. She said "You told me it wouldn't hurt!" I said "Did it hiurt?" She said "Well, it didn't feel like you said it would" Me: "So did it hurt?" Her: "I don't think so"
Was just a funny story I thought I'd share
