Cool

Full tank and full room shots

I've always been a huge fan of full tank shots and to be honset... My large tank obsession started after seeing a few full room shots. I was hoping that the fine members of TRT would post some pics! I actually remember people better from their tank shots that their avatars...

I'll start:
This is my living room back when I had first built my 125 in-wall. The trim was not done and obviously the tank was a planted tank back then...

Here is a FTS of the 125 last night. This tank is just keeping the few corals I have left, 10 fish, crabs, snails shrimp etc alive until I have the big tank back up and running. It looks funny as I'm only running 1 MH on the side and the rest is PC lighting for now...

And just for fun, here is the main disaply that is currently empty while I do a serious upgrade to the tank, plumbing, filtration etc...

So I hope other TRT members will find this as interesting as I do and post their FTS and full room shots!

Thanks,
Hop

How many built-in tanks do you have? Looks awesome! I would love to have a built-in for my next house (whenever that may be).

Not as impressive as Hops set up My tanks are in the Living room. The 95's sump is in the basement below the tank

Thanks guys! Yeah, I had to either have the Simpsons or King of the Hill on... And the brown dog still does the exact same thing. Look and bark..

HNG: I have the two built ins. When the 370 is back up and running, the 125 is coming out and I'm going to put a 72"X24"X28" in it's place that will be tied to the same system as the 370

dobejazz: That is a really cozy room! I could sink in there for hours!

I like this thread...I don't have any current pics, but I can get some this week sometime...

For now...here is the room and set-up (it is obviously behind the bar)...the tank looks much different now...

There is a small access room behind the tank...

I'll get more updated stuff this week...we wereen't even fully moved into the house at this point...

Btw...great looking rooms both Hop and Kelli

Hop...that wall behind the TV is interesting (has a 3-D effect). What is going on with the wood around the window? Is it actually set back? Very cool looking.

Kelli...Hop is right...those couches could eat me up for a Sunday afternoon with some Football on!!

Thanks for starting this thread Hop.

frankandmaura: You know, it's funny that you brought that up. I never noticed the strange 3d effect of that picture. That section is recessed about 5 feet and the tv and chair sit in it. But after you mentioned it it's like one of those 3-d games and it goes back and forth

glockafella and loverotties: Thanks for the kind words. You'll have pics of your rooms up later today?

Thanks Hop...never have time to drink (cept for a sip of the skimmate now and then - it is great with some Malibu Rum - j/k)...always doing something with the tank...not really (I am kinda lazy )

Anyway...I forgot I had some more pics of the room...these are old (from when we bought the house) we have done more decorating since these were taken.

Here is the rest of the bar:

Notice how little booze there is on the bar ...lol! We have more now!

Here is the room...basically behind where I was standing when I took this ^ pic.
