theres really no set standards or formulas for refugiums... how big, how much flow, what to put in it, how much to light it, when to light it, worth having in the first place... its all kind of trial and error untill u find what works for your system imo. suggestions ive picked up on- if youre going to do it go as big as u can, the more macro and faster it grows the more nutrients you should process. cheato is a good macro because it cant nuke your tank. if u run your fuge opposite your lighting on the main tank your ph shouldnt drop as much at night, u dont need high intensity lighting or actinic, pc 10ks are fine 65k better... good luck!
