I've not used it but it has been recommended to me by a few LFS ( I just need to run out of the food I have)

I use a mixture of Formula One and Mysis Shrimp to feed my fish. Sometimes i will add some blood worms to mix things up. My fish go crazy over it!

Like rotties said this frozen food has phos also. Take a small coffe cup and rinse it out. Fill it with some tank water. Then put your frozen food in the cup to thaw. Once it is thawed out dump it into your fish net to get rid of the water used to thaw it. That water is full of phos. Then dump the stuff back in the cup and add some more tank water and you are good to go.

I've used this brand. Their Formula 1 (and 2).

This stuff is pretty good. You WILL see a difference in the coloring of your fish the next day. Brighter, etc.

My corals like the residual debris from these cubes too.

But yes, they (like almost ALL foods) do have some phos.

My main complaint about this specific food is...more so than ANY other food I've used, this WILL make your skimmer go NUTS. Severely nuts!

So while I personally like this food...whenever I use it, I shut off the skimmer for a couple hours, then..I turn it back on and keep a VERY close eye on the skimmer for the next 4 or 5 hours after that. (or dial it down really low if you go to bed relatively soon after).

The formula 2 (specially for Algae eaters) I have a much lower opinion of. My tank is mostly algae eaters (Coral Beauty, Tang, LMB) and they eat anything. But none of them touch this stuff. The ONLY thing in the tank that eats the formula 2 is the hermits...and only after they've searched everywhere else and are done.

I had the same thing with the Formula 2! none of my fish would eat it. I had to toss it.
