Frogspawn fraggin" question

I have a branching frogspawn. There are two distinct heads. However, there is still white slime or whatever you call it connecting the two heads on the main skeleton. these heads are a good 4-6" apart though. Can I still cut this fleshy section to frag it? Or does the frag need to be on a true skeleton section???

I don't have a camera to get a pic at the moment.

you could probably get away with cutting it, but anytime you cut the flesh, it can really strss the coral, and easily lead to infections where you might loose the whole thing, isnt really worth it when you can just wait another month or so...

Dont risk it just wait till the flesh moves up a bit.
