Friday already :)
Morning everyone!!!
Wow woke up in the middle of the night and there is another six inches of snow already. Looks like I will be spending the day shoveling...oh well this job has me in good shape if nothing else. I'll take pics when the sun comes up.
Attached is a picture of a bear from our Grizzly Discovery Center. Most bears that get acclimated to humans get killed, but this guy got taken in.
Have a great Friday and a great weekend, and any TRT folks that need some exercise come on over and help me clean this mess outside up. I will spring for beers and chili afterwards.

Good morning Perry and Geoff and the rest of TRT. Coffee is ready and I am up and running. Well up anyway. Another day of record heat and no rain. Red flag fire alert for the state. The last 2 days I have spent fighting grass fires. Have a great day and be safe

Morning Perry, Geoff, Flame and all of TRT.
WOW, from one extreme to the other. We have 6 inches of snow on one side and high heat and fires on the other. I think I'll stick with Carolina high 60's.

6" Snow!!! It's going to be 70-ish and sunny here today but hope we do get a few 'play snows' this Winter.

There's a very special tree in Cades Cove which grows tiny deer instead of acorns. Each year about this time, tourists grab them up almost as soon as they hit the ground but I got lucky and was able to photograph some of the 'deer nuts' before they got picked up!!

Great fauna and flora pix today, guys! Dick - is that a live oak? They are magnificent trees here in The South.
Hey, Tom - you better be prepared for a toastier day than the 60s. Weather.com says 78º! At least that gives me a break on the natural gas heating bill this November.
Tim - I hope your troups are feeling better today, and that you're not coming down with same.
I'm off duty today as I have to work tomorrow. Plan to work on cleaning up my den. Now all I need is some of that Doug/Casey/Tim energizer power to keep me keepin' on!
