Freshly mixed salt water turned cloudy

I just bought a new pack of Kent Marine salt and mixed it with RO/DI water... after mixing it, I let it sit in the container for about 30min while I ate lunch. Then when I was done, I took a look inside and the water was pretty cloudy. I couldn't even see the bottom of the container which is only about 10 inches deep. My previous salt mixes never had this effect, is this normal?

I've been using Kent Marine salt for a while now and haven't had this kind of behavior before. How much salt did you add to how much water? I use 1/2 cup slightly rounded per gallon.

That's about how much I used... not sure why it would cloud up at all, never seen this with freshly mixed salt water...

Are you using a power head or any thing to mix it?
