fresh air - overkill ??

ok,
dont laugh but today I noticed an air intake line from outside that goes within 3 feet of my tank...would there be any benefit to venting this line to my hood and accessories ?? my house is pretty much in lockdown mode until spring so i was wondering if a 1" line would make any difference to the tank ??

I always had a problem with low PH, to fix that I had to vent my tank to outside air. If you don't have any PH problems I wouldn't worry about it, but if you do it is an easy and cheap sulution.

i agree, since you are a lock down till spring, having the little extra to help withthe Ph will be good
