freeze-dried krill

I was wondering if it was OK to feed freeze-dried krill to my corals... I know the fish like but wondered about the corals...

Thanks,
Babs

I fed a couple to a mushroom colony the other day, ate it right up. Don't know if thats good or bad though, just that they ate it.

Do you chop it up or blend it? I never seem to get he right texture or blend. Always seems too big! Any help?

if the coral can accept larger foods (open brains, plate corals, or such) the krill is fine, if it needs smaller foods, you can just chop it or whatever. but more corals should eat it just fine.

I personally wouldn't feed them the krill if I have to chop it, I'd rather feed something that is the right size to begin with. I guess if its all you have you could do that. If they won't eat it, try something smaller.

Never have fed krill to my tank. Not saying it's bad, just always used mysis.

You lose nutrients in the freeze -dry process. I would feed frozen.

I use it in tiny, brown, pellet form. Seems to work well, my tank gets it every day.
