Freedom Filter all in one....


Anybody every tried this all in one sump/skimmer? wondering what your opinions are on it? looks kinda neat if it works well...

I would be leary, It sits in the tank and is bulky, It has a Rio Pump (prone to stalling) The Mag pump is an upgrade (how much $$)

It's almost $300 shipped you can get a nice skimmer for a 55 for under $200 and use a 20G for a sump. or just get a HOB skimmer. Thats all this really is, is a HOB skimmer. Personally I would pass, But that just my opinion

I have a Deltec MC500 in my tank (The big grey Box).

It really pulls the junk out of the water.

I modified it so it surface skims.
