Free RO/DI!!! :)

Well sort of...
Because of a nitrate problem this weekend I needed to make alot of water so I left the RO/DI open all night long into a trashcan. I was curious so I wrote the number from the water meter down. After making 50 gallons and probally loosing 250 in the process of rejection my meter never moved. My best guess is that the flow is sooo slow that it doesn't register on the meter.
SWEET!!!

This is a 80gpd RO/DI unit.

Something wrong with the meter IMHO. When my neighbor was having problems with a leak, his meter was moving and it couldn't have been much bigger leak than your RO unit.

haha.
the water company uses two meters, the once inside your house and one they have, so you might not be so lucky. if they fell something is not right , they will look at both and compare the numbers.

It isn't really like the water costs all that much anyway!
