Free fish to good home.
Is there anyone around the Lakeland FL. area that has room for a very healthy and colorful Tomato Clown? She has been living all alone in a very large refuge eating all the pods and I feed her every night after the lights come on. She has been there for about 6 months. She really needs a good home. Maybe even an anemone. She has been using the caulerpa as a host. I like the fish and really don't want to get rid of her, but I don't have room for her. She eats right out of my hand. If you can provide her a good home all you have to do is come get her.
Thanks
Darrell

I live in Kissimmee , how far is that from you ? I would love to take her . she'll have a 75 gallon tank to swim in till i set up my 150 . But that wont be till after the first of the year . Her tankmates will be a yellow tang ,a hippo tang and a coral beauty . She wont have anything to host right away but thinking about getting a carpet anemone . If your interested let me know ,you can email me at snakecharmer1203@aol.

Carpet anemones are poor host anemones, if they don't like the clown trying to host, it's a meal Anecdotaly the ones I have heard of surviving long term during my tenure on this and various other boards seem to thrive on a diet of prized, esp spendy fish

I kept her in a tank with a very large green hadoni and a very large seabae anemone for several months. She never had anything to do with the carpet. She did have the seabae to keep her company though. I have also had her in my LTA's. If she didn't have a choice, she may use the carpet. No guarantee on that though.

No not carpet anemone, they like to eat clowns. But clowns will host in about anything.

I am in no real hurry to get rid of her, so holding her until this weekend will be no problem. I will send you an e-mail with my phone #. and address.
