Frag tank lighting

I just set up a small 10 gallon tank to keep frags in and hopefully grow to trade. I have about 65 watts of pc lighting over it. I was wandering if I could also use one of the spiral pc bulbs a lot of people get from home depot or lowes to grow chaeto in refuges to add light to increase coral growth. I think these bulbs are 6500 K. Will this do anything for my coral growth, or just make algae grow out of control?

thises lights will not do anythign for the coral but any algae or weeds you want to grow that will do the trick.
I would think increasng to 96w PC's for soft corals will be better in the long run.

175 watt metal halides appear to work in my experience. Just set them high up over the tank so the heat doesn't get overbearing. You may have to use a clipon fan. Evaporation can be a problem for small tanks like this however.
