frag swap

So I am new to the coral thing but have been a member of this board for over a year. At times I get really busy with and don't have as much time to be on the board.

My question:

How do I get involved in frag swaps? I see someone posted a question that was from Valpraiso, which is super close to me (considering). I am out of the loop as to where and when frag swaps in my area are. I also may be posting this in the wrong folder, so if anyone can help that would be excellente! Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I would look for a local club and be friendly with them.

Folks on this forum have sent much needed coffee and it was like greeting well known friends when we met some in person.

Try sending a PM to the person near you and it will all work out. The most fun about this hobby is the sharing and combined zeal for having a tank.

I second the suggestion of finding small local groups. I am in one here in KC, and we just had a get together last Saturday. You may want to talk to local fish stores there to see if they know of any local reef groups that you can get plugged in to.
