frag/grow out tanks

Picked them up thursday and got them put in the bookcase today. I got most of the plumbing finmished earlier and the rest I finished tonight. I also got the substrate in as well as filled them with SW. I added 1" "dead" sand and then topped it with 2" LS from a 10 gallon tanks that was set up and from the LS from when the refugium broke 2 weeks ago that was in the 30 acrylic. I also filled both of them with water from the 10 gallon as well as water from the 30. I'm waiting for the water to clear up before I start up the circulation pumps. I'm thinking about starting the circulation with the rst of the system tomorrow, just a very slow trickle as to not give the main tank a big whallop all at once. I was also considering just running the circulation with the rest of the tank for short periods of time off and on all day tomorrow, just not sure which is a better idea. I'll post pics and a better explanation of what I set up once it clears and I can get some pics, it's been a long day between work and working on the tanks. The sand was a lot "dirtier" than I expected considering that there was nothing other than snails in the 10 gallon. Any suggestions and thoughts on how long I should wait before I start the circulation with the rest of the asystem would be appreciated... Thanks.
