Found Crab eating hermits

Hey Everyone,
Have not been around much due to summer activites and now that the season is winding down...I'm spending more time on the tank.
So I finally cleaned all the coralline off the bottom front glass that had been growing for the past few months and was watching the tank today...when out of nowhere...
this black mass drops out of a rock hole and snatches up one of my large red legged hermits.
I almost fell of the couch...i thought it might have been my blenny darting back into the rocks.
But after a brief look, I found a big blackish/blue crab...eating the hermit right out of his shell.
I lost a chromis 8 months ago and thought it was my CB shrimp.
I've also noticed a lot of empty snail and hermit shells below his layer...I thought they just got caught against the sparybar in the back and got blasted to death.
There was also unexplained clicking noises coming from the tank at night...and i never saw this guy.

The tank has been up and running for 9 months now and i never saw him...not even at night.
Well, now comes the job of trapping him...i'll post pictures when i get the little SOB!

Freaky how I never saw him before...and he is quick, i can't believe how quickly he got that hermit.
Sorry for the long post but I had to tell someone...

if the motion was as quick as you make it sounds I'm gonna 3rd the mantis shrimp vote.

They come in ALL kinds of colors. But are pretty much the only thing that would strike with speed like that.
