not yet, but I have been reading about these conversion kits for some time now, and finally found a reaseonably priced one. Prolly will add an electric start with a solar rechrge (trickle charge) for the battery as well, now if I could just find a reasonably priced automatic switch for the startup... Biggest problem I have is that I have to go out and start the generator up every month or so, if I forget for a few months, starting it up is a beayach. God forbid you don't start it up for 6 months or so...

Gasoline goes bad quickly, even with Stabil" fuel stabilizer, if you have a big tank in the ground, or one of the silver submarines, or are on natural gas lines, this is the trick, although smaller generators will run for some time on the propane gas-grill-sized tanks.

At the very least fire up your gas powered, ensure it runs then drain the gas and add fresh as well as extra, if you dont use it in the gen you can always throw it in the car later. An oil change might not hurt either, don't wait till you need it to start it up!!!!!!!!

My power just went out.. long enough to scare the ***** out of me.. so now that it's back on I'm reseaching generators...
I like the tri-fuel ones, something like this: http://www.yamaha-propane-natural-ga...om/ef2800i.htm but not sure what is a reasonable price?
Joe
