Food Grade tub?????

Well guys i was reading a old post about food grade here
http://thereeftank.com/forums/showth...ght=food+grade
I just went and got a container from Target its made by Rubermaid its a Roughneck 50g tub its color is blue and the bottom says HDPE with the number 2 in it. what i want to do with this is when i go get the ocean water from the LFS for my WC the water is about 65F and my tank water is 79F so i want to match the temp so i dont shock the fish. this way i can place all 50g in the tub and throw in a heater and warm it up then ill drop it with a syphon into the sump. is it safe to use this for water to warm it up and place it in the tank??? i think flyguy had something like this a couple of months. I got the tub already and i am going to get the WC water tomorrow morning and ill do the WC on sun any help will be appreciated

HDPE
High density polyethylene. A plastic resin used in products and packaging such as milk jugs, detergent bottles, margarine tubs, and garbage containers. I am not sure what the number 2 stand's for.
It should be fine, just wash it out with a water and vinager mix and rinse well before using it.

after a while you can recognize HDPE by look. it has a distinct grain pattern.
