Flux Capacitor

dont know what to call my idea, figured flux cap. would catch your eye. Here it is. No water to top floor where tank is. daily top offs are no problem, just dont like the constant spec. gravity changes. I am thinking of turning my 20h into refugium, 30lb lr, 40lb sub. and some shrubberies. I will put a float on my sump to trigger top offs from the fuge. Then I will top off the fuge with 1.025 daily. Then i will take a milk jug and do a gravity drip of kalk into fuge? I saw a diy thread where this milk jug was done, tims responded in stating that he used a 5g bucket ro and kalk as top off. I use tap for now(I know)making me think that just a bucket of saltwater, kalk and air line could solve my prob. But when i do finally use ro, can it be stored like that safely, being stripped of any chem. or preser4vatives. Does ro go bad quickly. as you can see im running in circles. help me. please. seriously. please. thanks. high five

Shrubberies? Do the Knights of Nee demand this?

Saltwater topoff? Eventually your refugium will be freshwater?

If you use water from your fuge for top off your salinity will climb. The top off should be pure water to replace evaporated water. The salt stays when the water evaps so you salt levels would climb and climb.

Uhhhhhhhh.... I think Rogers expresion covers that!!!!!!

Its only a flesh wound.........

what wait, the fuge is freshwater? no silkly. wait, what?fuge is to be salt then i should set it up to exchange water on a cycle, so me plants are good. then put a 5 gallon bucket with freshwater hooked to a float in sump for top-off. Kalk. use it instead of kents liquid calcium, gravity drip it into fuge or tank? one more thing tds pens. if you take a reading you get ppm. add supp. take reading again and you get a reading on how much you added. can i write with it too. i'd buy one for sure.

rollbar girders from my bugeye sprite. Had em powder coated, welded quartered motor mounts to help dampen the 4 120mm fans i rigged. legs that came with were a joke. as were the fans.

cool tims, yeah the little tanks rocks are yours as are the base pieces seen in my main display. the ones in the main are orange purple green, dont know alk. I add kents liq. calcium nightly, trying to do your drip 5g bucket with kalk. 20% water change every friday night. I threw my test kit away. Ill get a tds, but never will i test with kits again never. Tds. if u take a reading, add supp. then take another reading. how do you tell how much total there is, not just amount added?Ro/di Is my next purchase though.
