flow in my 180??
right now I have 2 1100 Seios running and a 3rd one, a 1500, in the tank, but not running yet, as there is only water, sand and rock in there so far....my question.. do I need all 3 of these?? This would be 3700 GPH of flow....just wondering if this is ok or too much, or if the 1500 is not needed?????

I have about 3200 gph flow in my 50 so I would say you need more. Most people shoot for 30-50 x turnover. As long as you don't have sandstorms ur good to go

I would not say it's too much, but it can be if it's isolated, stirring up the sand, or otherwise bothering a coral. I've got about twice that in my 150, and I could stand a little more in a few places.

I guess telling you that I'm shooting for 9000 in my 190 might help
