Floating Crap in tank.......

I'm starting to get annoyed. I can't keep my water column clean. I have tiny particles every where.

I added a filter pad (from and old aquaclear 300) in front of my return pump intake (little improvment), I then switched the filter pad out with another type of filter pad. No luck.

I have a 125g Bare Bottom with a 45g sump and 10g refugium.

I'm about to go buy the largest mechanical filter I can find and hook that puppy up!!!

Anyone have any other ideas?

This combined with other post would definately tend to make me think running skimmer less is NOT a good idea....
