Flat worm images


I could not find an image of this guy before so here it is. Red Planaria I believe? I even did a google on him and nada...

I get these hitchhiking in on corals from time to time. They dont cause any real problems for me. Are you having problems?

These came in on some coral I got, the one piece was pretty covered in them. I used a syringe and "jetted" the coral clean and vacuumed a couple stragglers off. Unfortunately I think, they are in my tank anyway and was not sure if I should panic yet or not. I find it pretty unlikely that manually removing them will do much good in the long run.

Well, Ive imported them on a couple of occasions and they havent caused any problems for me. Im sure if you wait around long enough someone will tell you a horror story .
