From what I have heard gobies are known to jump as well.

Very cool looking little fish.

Yes, many gobies are known jumpers so you are oging to want a way to keep them from getting out of the tank.

Let us know if you decide to get one.

I got one of these guys in May of '06 from the marinecenter.com . He's in my 20H along with a gramma, and he seems to be doing well. A few things about them:

-They are small. Mine is about an inch long, from about .75" when I got him.

-I have never seen him eat prepared foods. My guess is he eats pods in the tank. He's fat, so he must be getting enough to eat.

-I am not sure which prawn he pairs up with, but it doesn't appear to be the tiger pistol shrimp.

-Relatively shy...he still skedaddles if he sees me coming.

Let us know if you pull the trigger!

For $40 I would jump on it as well.

Best of luck with it, and post pictures when you get a chance.
